This World Heritage-listed site is an experience unto itself.
Appreciate the spectacular views of Milford Sound from the sky and from the ground during this 90-minute helicopter flight with bonus landing. Experience the "Eighth Wonder of the World" by air as you fly over the magnificent fiord, carved by ancient glaciers, famous for its cascading waterfalls, unique wildlife and sheer cliffs. This World Heritage Area is just a scenic flight over the Southern Alps from Glenorchy, giving you a chance to discover native beech forests, towering peaks, spectacular glaciers and hidden lakes from above before soaring high over Mitre Peak and the famous waterfalls of Milford Sound. Then, touch down on the edge of the fiord, where you will take a short stroll towards the towering Mitre Peak before tracing the same path on your way home and experiencing all that beauty for a second time.

Flights are weather dependent. Weather checks are to be made one hour prior to departure. If we cannot operate due to weather and as a result, passengers are unable to fly, no cancellation fees will apply.
