Soar over the dazzling Franz Josef and Fox Glaciers before crossing the Main Divide to absorb the stunning Tasman Glacier. Fly among shimmering toothy mountains and majestic rivers of ice flowing through the rainforests as you continue over Mount Cook, Mount Tasman and the Southern Alps. Touch down for a spellbinding 10 minute snow landing (if the weather permits) at a location largely inaccessible. There will be ample time to take photos and soak in this unparalleled paradise.
This flight is 45 minutes in duration. Please allow additional time for check in, transport to and from the heli-pad and loading.
The snow landing is season and weather dependent.
Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to this policy:
Minimum of three and a maximum of six participants in the larger helicopter.
Please contact the provider if you have people wanting to watch the helicopter take off, this can often be arranged.
This is a weather dependent activity. In the event your flight is cancelled, you will be rescheduled.
Please bring a light jacket, sunglasses, camera and sturdy shoes you don't mind getting a bit wet if there is fresh snow.
