Take off from the helipad and begin your journey with flying over the mighty Huka Falls and down the Waikato River to the Aratiatia Dam. Your pilot will then take you out across Lake Rotokawa geothermal area and back over the top of Mt Tauhara, taking in the stunning views across the lake to the southern snow-capped mountains. After this, fly along the Taupo Lake front to Rangataria Point and the famous Maori Rock Carvings. To complete your journey, enjoy the scenic views around the bays to Kinloch before heading over Wairakei steam field and a geothermal power station with a last look at Huka Falls just before landing.
