Be stunned by the beauty of the Bay of Islands during this magical scenic flight, lifting off from the beachside helipad in Paihia. Take in views of the Bay's 144 subtropical islands as your pilot tracks the coastline, boasting brilliant golden sand beaches and dazzling swirls of blue and turquoise water. Continue towards the Cape Brett Peninsula and its lighthouse before heading to the Hole in the Rock, where your expert pilot will perform an extraordinary landing on top of this sacred Motu. You'll feel worlds away from civilisation as you're surrounded by steep cliffs over 150 metres high, stunning scenery and expansive ocean views. With very few people having stepped foot on the island in this way in all of history, this experience is truly enchanting and unique.

Guidelines

Please advise your weight at the time of booking
Children are the same price as adults for ages four years and over. Infants are under four years and can fly for free seated on the lap of an adult
The current fuel surcharge is $20 per person and may apply at the time of booking, payable directly to Salt Air based on the fuel rate on the day of travel. The surcharge applies to fuel only and is reviewed weekly, with updates posted on their website.

Cancellation

Change your booking up to seven days before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Adverse weather conditions may mean that the scheduled itinerary cannot proceed as intended. If adverse weather means that you are unable to complete the full tour then any refund will be adjusted on a pro rata basis dependant on the flying time involved.
