This exclusive flight showcases everything the beautiful coastal town of Kaikoura has to offer, from the incredible marine life the region is known for to the stunning natural beauty of the seaward Kaikoura Ranges towering to 9000ft straight out of the Pacific Ocean.

Fly by helicopter above the wonderful creatures of the deep; the year round population of sperm whales. Other species that can be found in Kaikoura include humpback whales, orca, hector dolphins, common dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, dusky dolphins, and New Zealand fur seals. Your pilot will be able to position you for that perfect photo by slowly orbiting around the whale in a way only a helicopter can. See the whale in its entirety from tip to tail, and take in some of NZ's most beautiful coastal shores.

Your flight takes you above one of New Zealand’s most unique areas. Due to the special underwater geography of the area, it enables a huge abundance of food to be produced due to a large upwelling and mixing of both warm and cold currents. The food produced here supports a very diverse variety of marine life including many types of whales that migrate through the area such as Humpback, Southern Right, Blue, and of course the resident Sperm Whales. There is also a chance to see the incredibly playful Dusky Dolphins and New Zealand Fur Seals which also call this sanctuary home.

Afterwards soar over the rugged coastline to the impressive Seaward Kaikoura Mountain ranges for an alpine landing high up that takes in all the wonderful views the area has to offer, mountains, peninsula, and Pacific Ocean.
