Appreciate the spectacular views of Milford Sound from the sky during this 50-minute helicopter flight. Experience the "Eighth Wonder of the World" by air as you fly over the magnificent fiord, carved by ancient glaciers, famous for its cascading waterfalls, unique wildlife and sheer cliffs. This World Heritage Area is just a scenic flight over the Southern Alps from Glenorchy, giving you a chance to discover native beech forests, towering peaks, spectacular glaciers and hidden lakes from above before soaring high over Mitre Peak and the famous waterfalls of Milford Sound. Before returning to the Glenorchy Airfield land in the snow on the Upper Humboldt Mountain range for panoramic views of Glenorchy and beyond, just try not to be overwhelmed by all he beauty on offer.

Flights are weather dependent. Weather checks are to be made one hour prior to departure. If we cannot operate due to weather and as a result, passengers are unable to fly, no cancellation fees will apply.
