Lifting off from Nelson Airport, you will fly northwest over the Kahurangi National Park and into Golden Bay, where Mt Olympus awaits your arrival. Land on this rocky landscape and view the remarkable pinnacle rock formations that were used to portray the rugged country "South of Rivendell" in the Lord of the Rings films. Over time, the rocky outcrops have been eroded by weather to form its distinctive columnar shapes. After much admiration, hop back on the helicopter for the return flight to base.
