Journey to Raglan Harbour’s most precious secret, Okete Falls. A gentle 1-hour paddle from Raglan, weaving past beautiful native bush and farmland will lead you to the majestic falls. Hear the stories, the history, and get up and close to the falls, before enjoying a fresh hot drink and slice.
Prepare for an unforgettable sea kayaking experience out on the turquoise waters of Raglan Harbour. You’ll begin your adventure at Raglan Rock Adventure Centre, where the friendly team will gear you up with all the equipment needed, before taking a short drive to the launching spot. After a briefing and a bit of practice with the kayaks, you’ll set out into the bay up to the harbour, until you reach the majestic and picturesque Okete Falls. Take in the stunning limestone rock formations, before disembarking on a hidden beach in a secluded bay overlooking the majestic Maunga Karioi. As you await your freshly brewed tea, coffee or hot chocolate, take a minute to admire the raw beauty and peace that the Whaingaroa Harbour has to offer.

This activity is weather dependant and in the event that the trip is canceled we will do our best to re-schedule or issue a full refund, providing the cancellation was made by Raglan Rock.
All you'll need is your closed toe shoes, active/swimwear, warm clothes, sun protection and towels. Please ensure no jeans or cotton are worn.
