Your friendly guide will run you through a safety briefing before gearing up and setting off on your adventure. Surrounded by staggering mountains and lined with vast grassland, you will be able to truly immerse yourself in a beautiful rural location. Take in the serenity as you paddle at your own pace along the calm, mirrored waters. After an awe-inspiring tour, return to the start point and enjoy some kiwi refreshments. This experience is the perfect slice of nature at its finest at the city's doorstep.

Session Length

Please allow approximately 3.5 hours for the duration of this experience
You will be on the water kayaking for approximately 1.5-2 hours

Guidelines

Participants must understand the safety briefing before kayaking. You will be on the water without a guide
Participants must be able to swim
The minimum age is eight years
The maximum weight limit is 120kg

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Dress Code

It is recommended to wear sun protection such as a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses, a towel, swimwear, suitable footwear like sandals and warm clothing.

Other Info

A self-drive option is also available if customers have their own transport while they are in Queenstown. However, the drive to Moke Lake is along a gravel road and is approximately 30 minutes from Queenstown. Please note to clients there is no cell phone signal on this drive. Clients must arrive at Moke Lake Campground by 9 am.
