This kayak trip to the spectacular Manupirua Springs Hot Pools on Lake Rotoiti is one of the best Rotorua Kayaking trips available. Paddle across scenic Lake Rotoiti to this amazing spot only accessible by boat.
Situated right on the lake edge there are a range of hot pools of varying temperatures all fed from a natural hot spring. Leisurely paddling through a scenic route across the lake for approximately 1 hour each way, you will learn about some of the history and the local stories on the way. There is plenty of time to relax and enjoy the hot pools or swim in the lake before paddling back to base.
This experience is part of the Responsible Range as it was awarded a Qualmark Enviro-Gold endorsement.
Please allow approximately 5 hours for this experience, including transfers.
It is possible for younger children to be put in the front of a double kayak with a parent. However the younger the child the more capable the adult needs to be as they may not have any paddling assistance from the child.
A minimum of 4 customers are required before the trip will proceed.
