Choose from different departure times and get ready to kick off with either a kayak or paddleboard out on the lake. Enjoy a gentle and peaceful paddle out to Ruby Island and enjoy a couple of hours here to relax, have a picnic, read a book or explore. Take in the beautiful scenery of this picturesque location, surrounded by mountains and lush greenery. To finish off the experience, you’ll be picked up by the powerboat and whizzed back to the departure point. Don’t forget to snap some pics of the beautiful scenery as you glide through the calm waters of Wanaka.

All you need to bring is clothing that you don't mind getting wet, and anything else you might want to deal with the current weather (sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, raincoat, fleece, water bottle, snacks, etc.) If you are going out for two or more hours you should also bring a cell phone that works in New Zealand as an emergency contact.
If you book at 9am, you will be collected from Ruby Island at 12noon, however this can be changed on the day if you'd like more time. Let the provider know upon your arrival.
