Nestled in the Fiordlands National Park, Milford Sound is a picture postcard destination waiting to be explored. Join local guides on a 5 hour guided kayaking tour to experience the magic of this rugged landscape from a whole new perspective. The length of Milford Sound is approximately 16km long but this comprehensive kayaking tour will take you on a large loop taking in the main highlights to see the local flora and fauna, spectacular cascading waterfalls and of course the majestic mountain ranges. You won't want to forget the camera for this unforgettable experience!
The duration of this experience is 5 hours with 3-3.5 hours of kayaking time plus a safety briefing and time to get changed.

Sea kayaking in Milford Sound is characterised by remoteness, rapidly changing weather and water conditions, cold water and in many cases limited kayak landing sites. Your guide will provide you with a pre-trip safety briefing, paddling instructions and ongoing safety management. Clients must follow the guide’s instructions and adhere to safety requirements. Anyone under the age of 16yrs must be accompanied by their caregiver. The primary reason tours are canceled is due to high winds from a certain direction which the guides can only make the call on, on the day. They will advise you upon meeting what the plan will be for the day and if the cancellation will be necessary. Full refunds are given if we cancel the tour.
