Launching from Okahu Bay, enjoy a gentle paddle across the stunning Auckland Harbour to Rangitoto Island, one of Auckland's most unique and iconic landmarks and home to a dormant volcano. Your paddling adventure takes a little over an hour and once there, you'll continue working your muscles on a guided hike to the summit. Admire the gorgeous geology, flora and fauna and hear stories of the island's fascinating history as you ascend. At the peak, you'll be rewarded with panoramic views of Auckland city, the inner harbour and islands of the Hauraki Gulf, as well as the vibrant sunset. Jump back on the kayak for the paddle back to Auckland, with the twinkling lights of the city in the distance and the starry night sky to guide you home. A truly serene way to top off your adventure.

This experience is weather and tide dependant.
Please wear clothing suitable for kayaking. For summer paddling, this means shorts, t-shirt, sports tights, quick dry clothing, water/wind proof jacket. For winter paddling, this means anything from thermal/wool/poly pro, shorts or leggings, polar fleece, sleeved tops, water/wind proof jacket, hat and gloves. Please do not wear denim or cotton. Shoes suitable for walking on rough uneven ground should be worn, such as trainers.
