Sea kayak out to the spectacular volcanic Rangitoto island for an exploration and dinner, before watching the sunset over the city and the Waitakere Ranges. The unique nature of this tour has made it world famous!

Sea kayak to the incredible Rangitoto Island, the iconic landmark of the Auckland region, while the sun is slowly setting over Auckland and the Waitakere Ranges.

Pull the kayaks up to Rangitoto wharf before embarking on a 1 hour explorative and fun trek to the summit where you will be treated to the best sunset Auckland has to offer.

At the return to the waters edge, a healthy, hearty kiwi dinner will be awaiting you. Under the guidance of your professional guide, we paddle back in the dark watching the city lights sparkle like stars. The night return kayak trip is a treat to the senses.

The guides are very experienced and skilled sea kayakers with a personal commitment and passion for conservation and kayaking. Their knowledge of the area, understanding of the weather systems and catering abilities will make your trip enjoyable and safe.
