If you fancy it you can avail of the pit stop to go for a swim. From here you will make your way along the historic Waitangi coastline passing the giant Waka shed with views of the Maori Canoes, stopping for lunch on the deserted Motumarie Island.
The river offers beautiful scenery and great bird wildlife and your guide will share with you the rich history of the area and the Maori legends as you take in the abundant wildlife in its natural habitat.
