Paddle on open waters during a four hour sea kayak adventure tour to the uninhabited Motukorea, Browns Island, from Auckland. After a 30 minute briefing with your experienced guide, you'll be equipped with professional equipment, including a personal flotation device and a sea kayak. Launch into the turquoise waters of Waitemata Harbour and the Hauraki Gulf from St Heliers Beach boat ramp.

As you paddle towards the island, passing by Gentleman's and Ladies Bays, be on the lookout for rare bird species like Dotterels. You might also catch sight of marine life, including dolphins, whales and little blue penguins. Enjoy an hour spent exploring Motukorea, Browns Island and uncovering its natural history as a dormant volcanic island formed 25,000 years ago. During the trip, you'll explore Auckland's unique geology alongside an experienced guide, making this an enriching experience for all.
