You'll certainly work up an appetite after your steady climb to see the top of the spectacular Wairere Falls - North Island’s tallest waterfall.
Rest assured, a gentle walk along the Waihou River follows where you’ll gaze upon some of the clearest water in New Zealand.
This is where you’ll stop for a gourmet picnic lunch before the next part of your trek.
A fantastic stop at that! The views are incredible.
Soon, you’ll enjoy watching a cheesemaker in action.
We can’t assure you’ll ever master the art of cheesemaking, but you will get to taste some of New Zealand’s very best.
The perfect end to your adventure is an afternoon tasting stop at a fifth generation winery.
This experience begins at 7:30am and concludes at 4:30pm.

You will need a reasonable level of fitness for this experience. The waterfall walk is around three hours with total elevation of 200m. The river walk is between 1 and 3km on a flat track. The track surfaces on these two walks vary from farmland/grass to mud and rock and some gravel - but both tracks are well-maintained. Wairere Falls track can be slippery and muddy when there has been a lot of rain. Our guides ensure that the pace is dictated by the group and allow plenty of time for short breaks for water, refreshments, photos and interesting stories on the way.
This experience departs from Hamilton.
