Discover the brilliance of Mother Nature on this full day adventure. Begin with a scenic flight from Te Anau soaring over hidden lakes and alpine landscapes, before touching down at Luxmore Hut on the Kepler Track. Follow this epic trail through the mighty Fiordland National Park with your guide.
Calling all keen adventurers! Immerse yourself in the stunning Fiordland National Park during this full day hiking tour. Begin with a magical scenic helicopter flight from the shores of Te Anau, offering sweeping views of hidden lakes, expansive mountain ranges and alpine tussock fields. Your pilot will then land in the heart of the wilderness at Luxmore Hut on the Kepler Track. Start your downhill hike on a well-formed track, meandering through native beech forest and passing along towering limestone bluffs, before opening up to panoramas of Lake Te Anau. The walk finishes up at the sandy beach of Brod Bay, where you will board a boat for the cruise back to the Te Anau township. Throughout the hike, your friendly guide will share information about the geology of the area and local conservation efforts.
For the extra energised hikers, there is a possibility of ascending the summit of Mt Luxmore at the beginning of the walk, prior to the descent. You will need to allow an additional 2-3 hours for this.
