You will begin your day with a pick-up from central Wellington to the Weta Cave, enjoying commentary and local landmarks along the way. On arrival, enter into the world of your favourite films during a 45 minute tour of the Weta Cave Workshop. Immerse yourself in a journey through filmmaking as you walk through incredible sculptures, prop replicas, art prints and apparel. Learn more about the movie effects created for The Lord of the Rings, The Chronicles of Narnia, the record-breaking Gallipoli: The Scale Of Our War and more. Then, get inspired to make your own movie magic with a 45 minute Miniatures Stage Tour. See the huge miniatures created by the Weta Crew for the popular TV series Thunderbirds Are Go! To end your day, enjoy a two course lunch and drink at the Karaka Cafe on Wellington's waterfront and take home an exclusive souvenir from the Weta Workshop.
