Our most popular shared group tour experience, ideal for food and wine lovers. The day begins with a visit to a boutique vineyard for a guided wine tasting, complemented by gourmet tastes such as Te Matuku Bay oysters and local Waiheke honey. Continue to the award-winning Allpress Estate for an informative olive oil tasting and an introduction to the island’s renowned olive oil production. At the second vineyard, enjoy a wine and food pairing, followed by a relaxed, family-style lunch showcasing seasonal flavours in a beautiful vineyard setting. The final stop is at The Heke, where you can taste a range of their products including a local beer, gin, whisky and a liqour. The tour concludes with the option to return to Matiatia Wharf or be dropped off in Oneroa Village to explore at your leisure. Due to seasonal availability, Te Matuku oysters may not be available but they will be substituted with another gourmet treat.

Beautiful setting but lunch disappointing

Chez 5 January 2024

I bought this experience for my son's birthday. He was home from overseas for Xmas and while he loved the tour, he was still quite hungry after 'lunch', which was only Tapas type food and not a suitable lunch for a man. On return to Auckland he had to buy lunch. Disappointing, as the whole thing cost $610 after buying ferry tickets - I would have expected better.

Amazing tour

We received this tour as a present and would not hesitate to recommend it as a treat for yourself or someone else. It was great to visit the boutique vineyards and olive grove in particular and learned a lot from the food pairing. Simon was a wonderful guide gave great local stories and kept us entertained all day.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience !

We had a fabulous day, it was gifted to us by our family. We started off at Kennedy Point Vineyard which was an organic vineyard. Fabulous wine and fresh Oysters straight from the bay. Then onto an Olivd Farm where they make the most delicious and award winning oils. Then wine and food pairing at Peacock Sky, a very interesting take on how food changes the flavours of wines. Onto Stony Ridge for more tastings and a delicious platter for lunch. We were extremely lucky to have good weather, a great group of fellow travellers and just the funniest and best guide and coach driver Lance, he was an absolute diamond. An experience we would highly recommend and we had a ball.

Great day out

This wine tour was very well organized. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and didn’t rush us. The wineries we visited were very accommodating and passionate about what they do. It was a good mix of well known wineries and also some lesser known ones.

This was a great experience

The wine tour and tastings were fine but the lunch at the Bach was very average. There was too much bread, nuts etc.We had to wait for an hour for our meal which was excessive.Need to introduce fly control as well.

Must do wine tasting tour

Babypenguinfatema 15 September 2018

Loved the wine tasting tour. 3 different wineries with about 3-4 wines tasted at each. Lots of food and snacks at each place and the deli lunch was amazing. We were lucky to have incredible weather and lots of sunshine.

Very well organised tour, lots of interesting information and facts! Beautiful vineyards chosen! Very hospitable particularly as we had a last minute babysitter drama and ended bringing along our 1 year old. We were very well catered for and looked after. Could not recommend more!!! Thank you!!!!
