Deepen your connection with the local Tamaki people, history and culture during this interactive lunch experience at the Tamaki Maori Village. On arrival, you'll be welcomed by a whakatau ceremony before grabbing your own dough to get your handmade puku burger started, filled with prime BBQ meats. While lunch is cooking, you'll have the opportunity to chat with your friendly and knowledgeable Tamaki hosts. With a belly full of food, you'll have time to explore the beautiful forest of the village, learn traditional pastime activities, feed the village tuna, identify the flora and fauna of the forest and unlock meanings of their carved houses. You'll feel the warmth and serenity of their home from start to finish.
