Get ready for a magical evening on the beautiful waters of Lake Taupo, sailing amongst a backdrop of picturesque landscapes and to the famous Maori Rock Carvings in Mine Bay. Watch as the beautiful lake with its surrounding bays and snow-capped mountains turn into the colours of sunset as dusk begins to set in. Sit back and relax with a drink in hand and music in the background as you sail to the beautiful site. Upon arrival, you'll be blown away by one of New Zealand's most spectacular contemporary artworks, standing at an impressive 14 metres tall. Get up close to the work of art as your expert guide explains its history and significance to the M?ori culture. During the summer, you'll enjoy a swimming stop to cool off in the water.

Weather

All departures are subject to demand, minimum numbers, lake and weather conditions. The provider reserves the right to transfer passengers to an alternative boat should the weather conditions or other circumstances require it.

Dress Code

Casual, comfortable and warm clothing (layered clothes work best), windproof/showerproof jackets, swimmers and a towel (during summer), sunglasses and hat. Wear flat footwear.
