This half day tour is the perfect way to experience New Zealand's traditional Maori culture. Departing from Auckland, enjoy a three hour scenic drive to the Bay of Plenty. On arrival, you will be welcomed by the Maori residents and treated to an authentic Hangi lunch cooked in woven baskets and placed in the active steam vent. Afterwards, enjoy a 90 minute guided tour through the 60 hectares of Te Puia Geothermal Valley including the largest active geyser in the Southern Hemisphere, the Pohutu Geyser.
