Take in the spectacular views of Lake Taupo framed by Tongariro National Park's majestic snow capped mountain peaks as you cruise to the famous Maori Rock Carvings on a large, comfortable catamaran.

The Cruise Cat is the most comfortable boat on the lake. It is fully enclosed and wheelchair friendly with large outdoor decks allowing a closer view of the carvings and a luxurious experience on the lake

This cruise is family friendly with lots of activities for the kids! Earn your wheel certificate, feed the ducks, learn some fun facts about the Lake. You might even catch a fish.

Enjoy a freshly baked muffin and a hot cuppa onboard. (not available on 5.00 pm departure)

Please note this experience does not operate on Christmas Day The boat has pushchair and wheelchair access however toilets are not wheelchair accessible Suitable for all levels and ages The only reason the cruise will not proceed is due to very high winds which can make passage on the Lake unsafe. In the event of this the ticket can be transferred or refunded Children: Ages 4-16 years Adults: 17 years + Family: 2A + 2C

  • Cancellations less than 30 days out will result in a cancellation fee of 10% of the booking.
  • Cancellations of 48 hours or less will result in a 100% cancellation fee of the booking.
  • Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

The boat can accommodate 70 passengers.
