Situated in the Okere Falls Scenic Reserve the Grade 5 Kaituna River features the worlds highest commercially rafted waterfall, the awesome 7 metre Tutea Falls. Try it if you dare!
Get your adrenaline pumping with a highly exhilarating whitewater rafting experience out on Kaituna River. Although this trip provides full on action the river is pool drop meaning that every rapid is followed by calm water making it very forgiving for a grade 5 river, hence suitable even for brave beginners.
Approximately 15-20 minutes of training is provided prior to the trip teaching all the required paddle commands and safety information, ensuring you can have more fun on the water!

Minimum age for this experience is strictly 13 years
It is essential that all customers contact the experience provider on the day before the trip to confirm departure. Rotorua Adventures reserves the right to cancel or amend any trip due to safety issues, weather, river or road conditions, or insufficient numbers.
