Calling all adventure enthusiasts! Come to Rotorua and participate in some seriously extreme sports action. Your experience boasts both adrenalin and culture. Raft the Kaituna with world class guides, snake through bush clad canyons and plunge down the seven metre Tutea falls!

What's included?

White water rafting session
Transfers from your accommodation in Rotorua
All equipment, training and safety briefings
Experienced guides

With pick ups available from our accommodation in Rotorua, head out wiht your guides to the river and get clad in all the necessary equipment for a safe and enjoyable experience.

Youâ€™ll be put through your paces with some land based training and once youâ€™ve mastered the techniques, head into the water for some more schooling to make sure youâ€™re good to go.

Your guides are there to give you full instructions on your activity and to facilitate your experience of a lifetime! Adventure, fun, history and adrenalin overload!!

You will leave Rotorua with a greater understanding of the Maori culture and a greater knowledge and appreciation of the natural environment, whilst at the same time having unforgettable day.

This experience is part of the Responsible Range as it holds a Qualmark Enviro-Gold endorsement, is a certified Climate Positive operator with Ekos and has received the 100% Pure NZ badge from NZ Tourism.

Each raft holds six people plus two guides.

The experience is not affected by the weather, unless there is extensive rainfall, in which case the river will be closed

[Employee of redballoon] I did about 10 different experiences in Rotorua and this was my favourite by far! I went in August and their gear kept me warm the whole time :)

Absolutely epic from start to finish. The guides were fun and professional, the rapids were wild, and dropping a 7m waterfall was next-level. Everything felt safe but still full-on. No experience needed, and the whole setup was slick. If you're near Rotorua, don’t miss it.

Couldn't do the grade 5 river as it was closed so did a longer grade 4 river. Was average the first couple of Rapids were awesome but it was pretty flat after that.

We had an excellent experience white water rafting with Kaitiaki adventures, the crew were knowledgable and friendly, had heaps of laughs and gave someinsight to the rivers history. Felt really safe, the team run a tight ship and they really made the most of all the rapids! Would definately recommend this for any rotorua visitors

The experience was in total of 3 hrs including ride transfer and training... Nt 3 hrs in raft or water...pictures bit expensive
