Take it all in as you drive for 8km around Hamptons Downs Raceway while one of the expert drivers guide you on the finer points of handling this supercar. The noise is unparalleled and the experience will never be forgotten.
Then just when you thought it couldn't get any better, you’ll get the chance to jump into the passenger seat of the awesome Mitsubishi EvoX for a fast lap around the track. A great way to finish off the experience!
Session Length
- Please allow 2 hours for this experience
- Available once per month on a Thursday
- Booking times available between 8am and 3pm
Guidelines
- All participants must hold a full NZ (or international equivalent) drivers license
- You must be drug and alcohol free on the day of the drive
- There is a general height restriction of 6ft 5 inches and a weight restriction of 120kg. Please call to discuss is you are outside of those parameters
Cancellation
Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to their policy.
- No cancellations are allowed after 14 days after the booking is made
Rescheduling costs are based upon the time until your drive date:
- Greater than 14 days notice - no charge
- 14 - 7 days notice - $25
- 7 - 4 days notice - $50
- Less than 3 days notice - $75
Spectators
Spectators are more than welcome and they'll be able to accompany you into pit lane to take photos of you getting into the Supercar.
Weather
You will be provided with a weather watch number to call on the day before heading out to your drive to advise of any delays. This experience does operate on all weather tyres so only extreme weather effects the running of the experience.
Dress Code
Please wear enclosed, tight fitting footwear such as sneakers. Large boots etc. aren't recommended.
Other Info
Please note that this is a ‘Driving Experience’ and not a ‘Race Day’ - while you will get to experience the performance capabilities of the Supercar some restrictions to cornering speeds will apply on the day.
This experience takes place at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park located halfway between Auckland and Hamilton.
