Strap in for a drive you will never forget in the incredible Lotus Exige. After a safety briefing with your experienced instructor, take the wheel and race around the circuit for a full 8kms. Your instructor will be giving you tips and guidance on how to handle this brilliant vehicle, allowing you to get the most out of your ride. Feel the unmatched power and incredible sounds of the Exige as you drive around what some may consider the greatest track in the southern Hemisphere. To top it off, after your 8kms, it's time for you to get into the passenger seat as your instructor takes you for a breathtaking hot lap in the awesome Mitsubishi EvoX. This is the ultimate gift for the luxury car lover, the racer at heart or someone after an unbelievably exciting experience.
Spectators are more than welcome and they'll be able to accompany you into pit lane to take photos of you getting into the Supercar.
You will be provided with a weather watch number to call on the day before heading out to your drive to advise of any delays. The vehicles operate on all weather tyres so only extreme weather affects the running of the experience.
Please wear enclosed, tight fitting footwear such as sneakers. Large boots etc. aren't suitable.
Please note that this is a “Driving Experience” and not a ˜Race Day” - while you will get to experience the performance capabilities of the Supercar, it is not a race experience.
This experience takes place at Hampton Downs Motorsport Park located halfway between Auckland and Hamilton.
