Learn trail riding and or refine your skills with a introductory downhill mountain biking lesson in the Port Hills. Then, take on New Zealand's longest and highest zipline reaching some dizzying heights across four stages, from 400m to 1100m. This is the full Christchurch Adventure Park experience.
Take on a full day of adventure in the Port Hills of Christchurch with this double whammy of a down hill mountain biking apprentice lesson and zipline tour.
In the morning you'll jump in the saddle for an introduction of mountain biking on lift accessed trails. Even if you've been riding trails for years this introduction lesson will teach you the best stance and balance positions as well as developing braking and cornering skills to ensure a great introduction into riding at the Christchurch Adventure Park.
Then, in the afternoon soar through the hills by zipline. The Christchurch Adventure Park zipline is dual lined which means you can race others through the heights and width of the park. With four stages ranging in length from 400 to 1100 metres this is an epic way to experience the Port Hills. The tour is approximately two and half hours in duration and includes sites of geographical and historical significance as well as some heights like you've never seen before.
The park itself is nestled amongst a Pine Forest - you'll find it hard to believe you're only 20 minutes away from the South Island's largest city centre.
