A must-do for everyone from six to 106 years of age, this tree-top and zipline experience combo is an exciting and educational attraction for anyone visiting the West Coast of New Zealand's South Island. Learn all about the surrounding rainforest then fly through the Rimu tree-tops at high speeds.
Embark on an unforgettable adventure that begins and ends at the West Coast Tree Top Visitor Centre and is highlighted by an exciting walk amongst the tree tops followed by an adrenaline-pumping zipline ride. Upon arrival at the Visitor Centre, your highly trained and knowledgeable guide will meet and gear you up for a two-hour experience of a lifetime! Explore the unique Rimu rainforest by following your guide along the forest track and then through the tree-top structure.
Next, you will climb the 106 steps to the top of the spiral tower as you get ready to team-up with a friend on the tandem ziplines. As you step off into the sky a good 45 metres or 15 storeys above the ground, prepare to have your breath taken away flying through the Rimu tree-tops at speeds exceeding 60 km/h for the 425 metre trip that takes you back to where you started. Catch your breath and, if you wish, relax at the cafe or take your time to further explore the Tree Top Walk and surrounding Rimu rainforest at your own leisurely pace.
