Journey the morning through the forest on four incredible ziplines with stunning views across Lake Wakatipu to the Remarkables mountain range. The afternoon is for pure relaxation; tasting world class wines at 3 wineries, indulging in a fabulous cheese platter and viewing the many scenic sights.

In the morning you will journey through the forest on four incredible ziplines with stunning views across Lake Wakatipu to the Remarkables mountain range.

Your guide for the afternoon will pick you up at 1.30pm from the bus stop on 43 Camp Street ... and get ready for an afternoon of pure relaxation. You will visit 3 wineries in the Gibbston Wine Region, including The famed Cave at Gibbston Valley. You will also indulge in a cheese platter at one of the vineyards and enjoy a glass of wine of your choice.

There will be photo opportunities at every corner and your guide will drop you to your Queenstown accommodation at the end of the day (approximately 5pm).

This experience is part of the Responsible Range as it was awarded a Qualmark Enviro-Gold endorsement.

Important information

Session Length

The ziplining tour will take two hours
Please allow four hours for the wine tour

Guidelines

Participants must be age 18 years or older to consume alcohol
It is recommended participants aged 18-25 carry ID as proof of age
Please advise of any dietary requirements at the time of booking as cheese and crackers are included in the wine tour
Maximum weight is 125kg for ziplining
Minimum weight is 30kg
Ziplining is not suitable for pregnant participants

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

This tour operates with a maximum of 19 people.

Weather

Both the ziplining and wine tour will run in all weather situations. However if there are road closures due to inclement weather, options will be provided for rescheduling or refund.

Dress Code

Please bring an extra layer of clothing year round! Jackets, hats and gloves are recommended. Closed toe shoes are essential (no sandals, flip flops or heels). The maximum weight for any Ziptrek Ecotour is 125kg (275lbs)

Other Info

Lunch is not provided but is highly recommended after ziplining and before the wine tour!

We did the Zip line tour and Winery tour package deal. The zip lining was amazing and extremely fun and informative. Guides were bobby and Lauren and both were outstanding. Winery tour was led by Vicky and that was one of the best days of our holiday
