New Zealand is home to some incredible skydiving locations, but there is no better place to throw yourself out of a plane than in Taupo. From 12,000 ft up on a clear sunny day, you'll see incredible sights. Take in views of active volcanoes, geothermal activity, Mt Doom and of course, the magnificent Lake Taupo!
Your day begins with a shuttle transfers from Rotorua at 12.30pm. In just under one, you will arrive at the dropzone for the real fun! After checking in and watching the safety briefing, your tandem master will take you on the most fun you've ever had in your life!
Try and relax and calm your nerves during the scenic plane flight up to 12,000ft. You’ll see incredible views of Lake Taupo, Mount Ruapehu and Mount Ngauruhoe – also known as Mount Doom from Lord of the Rings. Once you’ve reached altitude, the doors will open, you’ll sit on the edge of the plane with your tandem master seated behind you. If it hasn’t already, the excitement will have well and truly kicked in by now! Get ready... it’s time to jump! As you plunge from the plane into the fresh air, you’ll experience the best adrenaline rush of your life. After an insane 45 seconds of freefall, you’ll then float back to earth with a gentle parachute ride. You'll be buzzing long after your feet touch the ground!

A maximum of 8 people can be accommodated in the shuttle from Rotorua.
Spectators can come along free of charge depending on seat availability in the van.
