Then enjoy the serenity of a beautiful parachute ride and see stunning views in every direction. As soon as you are down, you will want to do it all over again!
Your experience begins as you arrive for your skydive. You will be greeted by 'frontline' crew who will show you a skydiving safety video and then, sit down with you and go through how you are going to feel and what you are going to experience.
After the briefing you will board an aircraft and head for the skies. The flight will take around 20 minutes, this will give you plenty of time to take in the stunning scenery. Get ready to say farewell to the plane as the green light comes on, the door opens and you feel that rush of air! You shimmy to the door until your feet are dangling over the edge 3..2...1. out you go!
Depending on weather, your views can include Waiheke Island, Great Barrier Island, Mt Ruapehu and even Mt Taranaki and both the east and west coasts of New Zealand - the black sand on the west coast beaches and the white sand on the east coast beaches.
After the rush of free-falling your parachute will open. You can now take in the magnificent views as your instructor steers you back to landing.
