Prepare to enjoy the adrenaline rush of a thrilling abseil/rappel, where you're in control as you descend some of Queenstown's highest cliffs! On our tour you'll visit a variety of crags to build up your skills and test your nerve. There's even time to enjoy the panoramic scenery on the way down!
An experience not physically demanding but definitely a mentally challenging one. This abseil trip lets you control your descent speed safely to the ground, as you experience the adrenaline rush of descending onto Queenstown’s doorstep.
The abseil site is just minutes from central Queenstown so there is no travel time and all the technical equipment you need is provided.
Abseiling is a controlled activity, and no previous experience is required. Full instruction, limited numbers and thorough checks by the qualified guides ensure your safety at all times.
Once this experience has been confirmed, changes are at the discretion of the experience provider and arranged directly with them according to their policy.
This experience operates in most weather conditions. In the case of poor weather, the experience provider will reschedule your experience for a later date.
Please wear walking shoes/boots and dress to suit the outdoor environment
All guides are qualified in outdoor instruction and are members of the New Zealand Outdoor Instructors Association (NZOIA). Regular maintenance and safety inspections are carried out on all cliffs and their attachments, with harnesses, helmets and equipment checked daily.
This experience is located in Queenstown.
