Feel the raw adventure and excitement of this guided rock climbing experience for novice through to advanced climbers. Under professional instruction, feel your body and mind work together as you reach new heights. There is a selection of cliffs with varying difficulty providing an experiential trip that it both fun and challenging. The instructors have an extensive knowledge of the Wakatipu area and are extremely enthusiastic and experienced in catering for a variety of climbing abilities.
No experience is necessary and rock climbing outings are tailored to suit everyone – whether the whole family is new to it, or if just the kids want to climb, or even if you're all climbing at different levels – giving you an outing that will be just the right mix of challenge and fun!
All technical equipment including rock shoes will be provided. Your safety is of paramount importance, that’s why all rock climbing instructors have New Zealand Outdoor Instructors Association qualifications (NZOIA), or an international equivalent, and our instructor to client ratio is kept low. All instructors have an extensive knowledge of the Wakatipu area and are extremely enthusiastic and experienced in catering for a variety of climbing abilities.
Maximum group size is 1:4 for individuals and 1:6 for groups
Spectators welcome at no extra charge
This experience operates in most weather conditions. In the case of extremely poor weather, the experience provider will reschedule your experience for a later date.
Please wear walking shoes/boots and dress to suit the outdoor environment
