Affectionately referred to as 'New Zealand's Island of Wine,' Waiheke is a unique micro-climate that is home to a sensational group of award-winning winemakers who have produced some of New Zealand's most prestigious wines. After a ferry ride from Auckland, you'll meet your guide and embark on a tantalising journey and visit three of Waiheke's top wineries to sample a range of their wines. Along the way, you will be treated to stunning views of the Island's pristine beaches and beautiful vineyards as your guide provides live commentary about its history, geography, people and culture. After your wine tastings, sit back and soak up the relaxing atmosphere as you enjoy lunch and a glass of wine or beer at a local favourite. Lunch is at your own expense. With a full stomach, you'll be returned to the ferry terminal for the ride back to Auckland.
