Soar the mountain slopes and ridges of Coronet Peak during this tandem hang glide from New Zealand's highest commercial launch. Take a courtesy shuttle up to Coronet Peak where your professional pilot will take you through a briefing before you become airborne together, soaring as high as the birds while overlooking the greater Queenstown area. With only a few running steps you can feel your weight lifted off the ground as you literally have your wings outstretched above, carrying you and your pilot skyward. Experience this unique bird's-eye view of this remarkable part of the world for 10 to 20 minutes before your pilot guides the hang glider to a safe landing on the valley floor below.
This experience is not suitable for expectant mothers of more than five months.
