Journey along a scenic one lane road that winds through breathtaking valleys and past stunning landmarks, ultimately following the crystal blue Shotover River. Make your way to Skippers Saddle, high up on the road to the Coronet Peak ski field, spotting highlights such as Hell's Gate, Gorilla Rock, and the historic wooden suspension bridge, built in 1901, on the way. Learn about past communities and see the restored Skippers Schoolhouse, enjoy light refreshments and spend an incredible five hours capturing breathtaking imagery.

In the event of rain or inclement weather your experience will still go ahead unless contacted by the experience provider. In extreme weather conditions or unsafe road conditions the tour may be cancelled if safety is a concern. You will be contacted by the provider and rescheduled.
Please wear clothing suitable to the weather on the day, enclosed shoes and to bring additional layers and rain protection in case the weather changes.
Nikon DSLRs are available for rental on the day. Additional SD cards can be purchased, payable to the provider directly.
