Prepare to be awestruck during a trip amongst the slopes of the mighty Tasman Glacier, the longest ski run in New Zealand. Gaze at the unparalleled snowy landscape during five flights throughout the day, and uncover mystical blue caverns and ice formations as you slide down the ski run twice.
Lying long and deep in the Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park, the incredible Tasman Glacier is a skier's absolute delight. Your day in a winter wonderland begins with a scenic flight from Queenstown to Mt Cook over the spectacular Southern Alps. Your expert pilot will provide entertaining commentary and point out the highlights of the route including Mt Aspiring, glaciers, glacial lakes and snow-capped mountains along the way. Upon arrival, you will be introduced to your ski guide who will brief you before boarding the ski plane to the top of the glacier at 2500m above sea level. The 1000m descent is an easy to moderate run, stretching over 8-10km. Marvel at magical blue caves and ice formations as you slide down, and do it all again with a second run. After your runs, you will return by ski plane to Mt Cook airport where you'll enjoy once last flight back to Queenstown.

Not suitable for children under 11 years or snowboarders.

This experience is weather dependant.
Standard skiing attire is required, please note due to the high altitude of the Glacier the temperature is usually colder than standard ski slopes, please dress warmly. You are permitted to bring your own gear however please ensure skis are no less than 90mm underfoot and well waxed. Ski rental is advised (additional charges apply).
