Looking for fun things to do in Queenstown? Take a ride around town on an amazing Segway! A complimentary shuttle will take you a short distance from the town centre where you get started.

After a quick training session you'll take a spin around Queenstown Bay and beyond while enjoying the unique sensation of riding a Segway. This option will give you an experience of how much fun these machines are to ride.

Session Length

This experience will take approximately an hour.
This includes 15-20 minutes for training.

Guidelines

Minimum age is 10 years
Minimum weight is 35kg
Maximum weight is 120kgs
A minimum of two people are required for booking

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience
Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience

There is a maximum of 8 people on this experience. A minimum of two people are required for booking.

Weather

Segway on Q operates in most weather conditions but if there's heavy rain or you are concerned about the conditions then please contact them 1hr before your booking time to discuss options.

Dress Code

We recommend bringing an extra layer of clothing as it can be chilly. In Winter warm socks and shoes are recommended along with beanies, gloves and jackets. Segway on Q has spare gloves for those that need them.

A Segway to Queenstown

What a great way to spin around town and the lakeside. Stopped for a quick game of frisbee golf. My son (13) thought it was just awesome

I received this experience as a birthday present and it was so much fun! Our guide Sinchan was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I could not stop raving about how much fun I had on this adventure.

Great way to see and experience Queenstown, our guide Sunshine was informative and fun. Training was good and care was taken to make sure everyone felt comfortable on the excursion, recommended.

We had our own group of six friends everyone was a novice but all had a blast our guide Andrew certainly helped the experience he was a lovely guy

There were 6 adults in our group aged between 18 and 35 and every one loved it. We did the 2 hour tour. Really recommend it and the staff were lovely. It was a lot of fun.

Had a fantastic time. Happy that Ben, our guide had extra gloves in his bag so a couple of us were able to wear 2 layers of gloves to keep warm as it was freeeeezing but beautiful.
