Combining the natural and cultural history of Rotorua with the thrill of riding in New Zealands only genuine operating WWII landing crafts and seeing breathtaking scenery en route, this tour promises to be a highlight of your stay. Beginning in the heart of the city, board the 'Duck' and set off to discover historic buildings, natural hot springs, geothermal wonders and more while your guide provides entertaining and educational commentary to suit all ages. From here, you'll change pace and enter the stunning Lake Tikitapu (Blue Lake) for the first splashdown before heading to Lake Okareka, surrounded by hills, native forest and quaint farmland.

Departs at 1pm during summer (October - April) and 11am during winter (May - September)

Weather

This experience runs in all weather conditions, however they will not enter the lake if waves are higher than 40cm or if conditions are extreme upon arrival.

Dress Code

Make sure you also dress for the conditions. The provider has heaters, blankets and roll down sides but it is always better to be prepared with warm clothes on the cooler days.
