Take to the track and discover the world of mountain biking, on an e-bike! Experience all the thrills of mountain biking, and the added bonus of effortlessly gliding up the hills and soaring through the forest like a pro! all you have to do is have fun!
This experience begins in Rotorua, where you'll meet the Electric Bike Rotorua team and be matched up with an e-bike. Set off and ride for 15 minutes through geothermal areas to Redwoods Mountain Bike Park. This is a very scenic route which offers great local sites as you get used to the gearing and electrical components of the bike.
Once at the park, you are free to explore some of the recommendations the EBR team has given you, and check out the favourite local spots before giving you the chance to venture further into the forest. On your e-bike, you'll have no trouble getting around the park! After a few hours, head back to Rotorua with a newfound appreciation for e-bikes!
Please wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing. A fleece is provided but you may also want to bring a light rain jacket.
