Important Information

Restrictions

This experience has a minimum height of 165cm.

Guidelines

You must arrive and check in at Highlands at least 15 minutes before your booking time
All participants must have a credit/debit card for the bond security of $2000 NZD for any damages that are caused through negligent or inappropriate use of the vehicle. All funds will be released after the Ultimate U-Drive experience is finished if no damage has been caused to the vehicle
A good understanding of the English language is a must
Fitting safely into the vehicles is a necessity so the provider recommends only people below 188cm and 110kg participate in the U-Drives. However as everyone carries their height and weight differently, if you are outside these guidelines, it is encouraged you come along and speak with the friendly team who can see if you fit in the vehicles
You must hold a current drivers licence and be competent in using a manual transmission. Learner's permits are not acceptable
It is essential that you bring your licence with you on the day as it must be sighted
There is a zero tolerance to alcohol on all self drive activities and you may be breath tested
This experience is not suitable for pregnant women or those people suffering from a heart condition

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

The vehicle is a 2 seater, so will only seat yourself and the professional driver.

Please note, the U-Drive Experience is weather dependent. If you are booked in, the provider will contact you if this experience is unable to go ahead.
