Queenstown’s Original Wine Tour

On the day of your wine tour, you'll be collected from your Queenstown accommodation and be escorted into the wine country of the scenic region for a relaxed and leisurely afternoon. You will then receive an in-depth introduction to a selection of Queenstown's award-winning wineries with the opportunity to experience tastings in a unique wine cave. At each of the three stops you'll meet a member of the vineyard for a close-up perspective of their wines, followed by a guided tasting. You will also enjoy free time to explore, purchase a winery lunch, taste cheese or sample craft beer.

There are several vineyards in the Queenstown region and the best vineyard combinations are chosen to provide an unhurried tour. The vineyards are at high altitude and subject to cold winters, hot dry summers and a huge night to day temperature range. Such adversity had led to pioneering wine-making, consistently superb wines, worldwide recognition and a plethora of international awards. The area has become especially well-known for its award-winning pinot noir. Other local specialities include riesling, pinot gris, chardonnay, sauvignon blanc and methode traditional.
