Soar above mountain ridges and get a bird's-eye view of Queenstown and its magnificent surroundings during this tandem paragliding experience from New Zealand's highest commercial launch site. Begin your adventure with a quick briefing and before you know it you'll take a few quick steps and be lifted into the sky with your highly trained and professional pilot. Gently glide down to the valley floor or ask your pilot for the "roller coaster ride", a thrilling and high G descent that will leave you breathless. The flight time is between 10 and 20 minutes, depending on the season and weather, so you will have plenty of time to take in the amazing views. Courtesy transport from Queenstown is included, so in no time at all, you'll look down on Queenstown's dramatic landscape of pristine mountains and winding rivers. This is truly an unforgettable experience with views that will stay with you forever.

Flight time is 10 to 20 minutes in duration
Winter (June-Sept) flights depart at 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm and 2.45 pm.
This experience is available seven days a week

There is a maximum weight of 120kg.

Chairlift foot pass necessary to reach take-off ($35 extra)
Photos and videos available after landing at extra cost. This package includes 30+ images and 2-3 high quality videos able to be transferred directly to your smart phone
Please check in at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time

Cancellation

Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

This experience caters for groups of between one to five participants per trip, depending on the time of year.

Spectators

Spectators can come along free of charge on a space available basis.

Weather

Paragliding is a weather dependent activity. If Skytrek cancels due to weather, a full refund is given if the booking can't be re-scheduled.

Dress Code

You'll be walking over snow and ice to access the take-off area so warm clothing is essential (dress for between 5 degrees to minus 10 degrees) and good hiking boots with ankle support is required. Boots, gloves and jackets are able to be supplied on request if you don't have your own.

Other Info

To access the top of Coronet Peak, the customer requires a chair-lift pass. This is additional and can be purchased from Skytrek at time of check-in ($35) or the customer can use their NZSki ski-pass.
