The first stop is Kitekite Waterfalls, where you can choose to hike, swim or simply relax before heading the famous Piha Beach. Here you can swim in the waves or head up to Lion Rock for incredible photo opportunities.
Experience New Zealand's beautiful scenery and Maori culture on this half-day tour of West Auckland. After a pleasant one hour drive from the CBD, enjoy an easy hike to Kitekite Waterfalls where you take a swim or simply marvel at the gorgeous site. The next stop the famous Piha surf beach showcasing black iron-sand, pristine water and rugged bushland. In your free time, swim amongst the waves and walk up Lion Rock (situated in the middle of the beach) for stunning views and incredible photo opportunities. The tour concludes with a visit to the Ataraki Maori Centre to learn about the local culture and view traditional art before heading back to the centre.
