Experience two days of pure fun and thrills as your ride through the Southern Alps, Queenstown. Begin your journey with pickup from New World Supermarket Frankton (near Queenstown airport) then enjoy transfers to the accomodation before settling in and getting started with your adventure packed day. Your professional guides will be with your every step of the way throughout all rides. After a safety briefing, induction and avalanche safety talk, you are ready to ride! Enjoy two hours of thrill on the bike before taking a break for lunch and refuelling. Finish off your day with more riding for the afternoon before heading back to the accommodation for refreshments and dinner.

For day two, get ready for even more adventure. After packing up the hut, having a hearty breakfast and packing lunches for the day, get ready to head out for some more epic snow biking! After the morning session, enjoy a break, refreshments, and a check in with the team before heading back out for an afternoon ride. This experience is not for the faint hearted, but for those who love the snow, love to adventure and are after the thrill of snow biking!

Session Length

This experience has a duration of approximately one night and two days.

Restrictions

The tour requires a certain level of motorcycle riding ability and a reasonable level of fitness to participate. Participants found to be unable to safely ride the snow bike after an extended practice period will at the discretion of the lead guide be returned to base. Baring special circumstances no refund will be given.

Guidelines

16 years of age minimum
Any person 18 years and under can only ride with Parental Consent
Some prior motorcycle experience is required (Clutch, Gears and Brakes)
A reasonable level of riding fitness
The bikes are all 450cc so you will need confidence
Ability to use the throttle, clutch, gear lever, and brakes on a motorcycle
Experience consectutive hours in cold weather, the weather can change within minutes
Able to follow complex directions (Avalanche awareness, starting and stopping procedures, stay with your guide, tips on control)
You must inform the provider of any pre-existing medical injuries or conditions prior

Cancellation

Snowmoto New Zealand reserves the right to cancel any tour at any time (typically due to inclement weather, unsafe backcountry travel conditions or guide injury/sickness). In the event of cancellation, the customer will be offered the opportunity to either reschedule or receive a 90% refund.
Cancellations inside 30 days from the experience incur a 100% charge

Numbers on the Day

This experience runs with a minimum of two people and a maximum of eight people.

Under New Zealand law, it is extremely unlikely that you will be able to sue anyone if you are injured. New Zealand’s Accident Compensation Scheme (“ACC”) provides limited assistance for injury. It is strongly recommended that visitors to New Zealand have full insurance covering injury, illness and cancellation prior to taking part in this activity.
