Restrictions

This is a seasonal experience available between September to May.

Guidelines

• Must be able to walk 1.5km in 25 minutes to the boat departure point
• The minimum age is four years old. Children aged 4-9 years must each be accompanied by an adult
• Maximum weight is 140kg
• Please call the experience provider one hour before your scheduled flight time
• If you are self-driving, your check-in time is 30 minutes before departure
• If you weigh 140kg (310lbs) or more, please visit our office before your flight. This allows us to verify that the aircraft seatbelts will fit comfortably for your safety and comfort during the flight. Generally, we have found that individuals around 140kg meet the requirements in most cases.
• If you cannot visit us in person, please measure the seatbelt length across your lap while seated, from your right hip to your left hip. The estimated length is 120cm, similar to standard aircraft seatbelts. If you believe your measurements exceed this length, please inform us.

Cancellation

• Change your booking up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience
• Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your experience
• Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Weather

The flights are weather-dependent. Pilots will make a weather check one hour before each scheduled departure. If they cannot fly due to adverse weather conditions, the supplier will attempt to reschedule depending on your schedule and flight availability. If they cannot reschedule, you will receive a 100% refund.

Dress Code

Warm clothing layers, sunglasses, and sensible footwear are essential.

Other Info

There is no food included, you are welcome to bring your own lunch with you. You will also have some time after your Tasman Glacier Explorers trip to grab a bite to eat at the Hermitage Hotel Cafe.

This experience takes place in New Zealand's Southern Alps.
