Watch warriors paddle a waka (war canoe) on the Wai o Whiro stream, followed by the powerful haka and performing arts. Enjoy a traditional hangi feast with slow cooked meats, kumara, and vegetables. As night falls, take a guided walk through the forest to explore an ancient Maori village and the sacred Te Puna Tapu o Tuhoe spring. Dress Code

Please wear clothing suitable to the weather conditions on the day. Bring warm clothing in winter, a hat in summer, a jacket when raining etc. Ensure comfortable and weather appropriate shoes are worn for the bush walk. Umbrellas are limited and provided on a first come, first served basis.
