Guidelines

• Booking requests must be placed at least 24 hours before the desired date
• Participants must agree to sign a waiver before commencing activity
• Participants must be at least 14 years old
• Anyone under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
• Weight limit of 110kg per person and height of 1.93 metres
• Tours are conducted in English
• All tours are smoke and vape free
• Sea sickness recommended for those who may be affected by motion sickness

Cancellation

• Change your booking up to 48 hours before the start time of your experience
• Changes are not permitted within 48 hours of your experience
• Late arrivals or no shows may result in you forfeiting your experience

Numbers on the Day

Please note that we require a minimum of 2 guests to run a tour.

Weather

Sea kayaking in Milford Sound is characterised by remoteness, rapidly changing weather and water conditions, cold water and in many cases limited kayak landing sites. Your guide will provide you with a pre-trip safety briefing, paddling instructions and ongoing safety management. Clients must follow the guide’s instructions and adhere to safety requirements. Anyone under the age of 16yrs must be accompanied by their caregiver. The primary reason tours are canceled is due to high winds from a certain direction which the guides can only make the call on, on the day. They will advise you upon meeting what the plan will be for the day and if the cancellation will be necessary. Full refunds are given if we cancel the tour.
